Quality Inn Savage - Bloomington West

I recently stayed at this motel, I was in a Domestic Violent relationship that brought me there, I thank God I was brought to this motel. The staff was MORE than helpful, understanding, compassionate and kind! I have never experienced better people!! I will forever be grateful to them Thank you all & God bless

It has hot breakfast that's really good, and weekends it's even better with eggs and sausage added. They have a pool and hot tub indoor of course. The rooms are okay they are clean with fresh linens. My husband and I went to the pool and hot tub today while it was snowing and it was such a beautiful scenery... I think this hotel takes state pay homeless people which is great because people aren't out in the elements this brutal winter, but they had a guest across the hall from me that was clearly on drugs and was throwing all these nasty piles of dirty gross soiled clothing in his doorway so his little dog would climb ove top the clothing and urinate on the walls in the hallway. One night I told him to get his dog and he basically threatened me. He would stay up all night slamming his door on the latch over and over. I was fearful of him if my husband wasn't around. I went to the desk one night and told them what was going on, and they put him out the next day. To be fair he was destroying the room as well, but this hotel put it's guests first. I can't put into words how much I appreciate that. This hotel is dated but the new owners and management are trying to really turn it around.

Nice place, I had a King Suite. Beds is super comfortable. The parking is very tight for a 4 door truck with 35 inch tires. The only downside is if you're not use to trains you hear them often. I'm use to them. But I know others that are not might have an issue.

Not a bad place to stay overall. It was a good price and they serve breakfast and have a pool and spa. When we arrived it is definitely a dated look to the hotel but no big deal. I did not like that the smoking area was right in front of the main door. It made the lobby smell like cigarettes. The front desk staff were very nice when we arrived. They had a baggage cart but there is no elevator and the whole place is a split level design which was odd. The did have handicap rooms right by the ground level lobby if that matters to you. The pool was 7am-11pm which was great. The pool towels always seemed to be in short supply but staff would get them for you if requested. The pool was pretty big for being indoors. It was a comfortable temperature and deep enough (5ft max). The hot tub was not too hot but was a tad bit low at the surface so the bubble jets made it look like a bubbling cauldron (more amusing than anything). They had a bathroom in the pool area for kids which is always good. The rooms were small, and the bathroom cramped. The door opened inward on the bathroom and barely cleared the toilet rim (if the door swung outwards problem solved). There were plenty of clean smelling towels which I appreciate. The sheets were clean and the beds comfortable. There was a coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave in the room. Breakfast had hot options such as waffles and biscuits and gravy (canned), cereal, yogurt, toast, fruit, and juice. Not a bad spread for the price. Wasn't too loud either despite the location being near railroad tracks.

The lady that checked us in and out was super friendly and polite. Hotel is great for the price. Rooms are big with the exception of the bathroom. I will say though if you have issues with climbing stairs make sure to let them know when you check in as there is no elevator. Traffic also can be a little loud especially if a train goes by however it didn’t wake us up at all. They have hot breakfast and the location is great with stores for shopping and plenty of restaurants near by.

This is an excellent choice for a hotel close to many great attractions. Our room was super clean and inviting. I definitely recommend as a lower cost hotel with excellent rooms and friendly staff.

Best quality Inn I’ve ever stayed at by far. Whoever owns this place takes extreme pride in the quality of their property. Very friendly customer service oriented staff as well. Very nice rooms everything is kept up very clean from the rooms to the public areas like the pool and lobby. Rooms are updated and contemporary nice big TVs. Very comfy beds . You won’t feel like you’re staying at a budget friendly hotel. Breakfast is basic like most quality inns but it’s very well kept everything is warm that should be It’s nice and neat and clean. The quality inn corporation should use this hotel as their standard. As someone that does a lot of business travel and vacation travel I will definitely use this hotel again!

Had a wonderful stay other than my car getting totaled. Staff were very helpful and accommodating, answered my plethora of questions as it was my first vacation out of state. Would stay here again, if i parked a couple blocks away. Pool area was noticeably dirty but staff was very attentive.
